Willard Edward Jones, 88, passed away Wednesday, November 28, 2018. He was born on January 14, 1930 in Westmoreland Tennessee to William Lee Jones and Agnes Sailors Jones. When he was a young boy, his family moved to Indianapolis. After graduating from Washington High School, Willard joined the Navy and served on board the USS Ashland for 4 years. While on leave from the Navy in 1953, he and Betty Lewis were married in Indianapolis.

Willard leaves behind the three most important people in his life: his wife of 65 years, Betty, and his sons Stephen Lee Jones and David Alan Jones. He was preceded in death by his parents Lee and Agnes Jones and his sister Frances Marie Walters.

There will be no funeral services.
